Shading, labeling, test tiles, signing, transferring sketches the options are endless!

The sharpened point of the underglaze pencil is the same as an ordinary or colored pencil, sharpen it using the premium pencil sharpener (included) or fettling knife. It will not break off, or fracture during sharpening.
  • LASTING & DURABLE - The images drawn with Chester’s Clay underglaze pencils will not fade, as long as they do not touch water before firing. Keep your underglaze pencil dry with the included water-proof carrying case. Stash it in your studio or tool kit for easy use.
